The Central Soil Salinity Research Institute (CSSRI), Karnal, under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), has decided to conduct walk-in interviews to recruit eligible candidates for various national and international research projects on a temporary and purely contractual basis.

ICAR-CSSRI Karnal Recruitment 2026 Salary / Stipend

Selected candidates will receive the following monthly honorarium according to their position:

• Young Professional-II: ₹42,000 per month (Consolidated)
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹37,000 per month + HRA
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month + 9% HRA
• Young Professional-I: ₹30,000 per month

The honorarium for each position is determined based on the respective project.
