- Level-2 Posts (NTPC): 12th (+2) Passed (50% marks).

- Additional Essential Qualification: President Scout/Guide or Rover/Ranger Award and active membership for a minimum of 5 years.
- Scout & Guide Certificate: President Scout/Guide, Hawaimala Wood Badge, or other NCAT qualification.
- In addition to the above, participation in National/State-level Scout events is mandatory.
