Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2026: The Directorate General Territorial Army of the Indian Army has released the official notification of Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2026 for Ex-Armed Forces Commissioned Officers. A total of 5 posts (Male – 4 and Female – 1) will be filled under this recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply from 27 July 2026 to 25 August 2026. Applications will be accepted offline only through India Post. The selection process includes only an interview, followed by a medical examination and Police Verification. Selected candidates will be commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant in the Territorial Army and will get the same pay and allowances as Regular Army Officers during training or military service.

Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2026 Salary / Stipend

Selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants.

Initial pay as per VII CPC Pay Matrix:

• Pay Level-10
• ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500
• Military Service Pay: ₹15,500 per month

Upon future promotion, the pay scale will be as follows:

• Captain – Level 10A
• Major – Level 11
• Lieutenant Colonel – Level 12A
• Colonel – Level 13
• Brigadier – Level 13A

During training or military service, the pay, allowances, and facilities will be provided at par with Regular Army Officers.
