CBSE Class 10th Second Board Exam and Date Sheet 2026 OUT: The CBSE Board has released the date sheet for the second board examination of 2026 for Class 10 students. This examination serves as an additional opportunity for students who wish to improve their scores. Under the new ‘Two Board Examinations Policy,’ students are now being offered the option to appear for the examination twice within the same academic year. According to the schedule released by the Board, the examinations will commence on May 15, 2026, and conclude on May 21, 2026.

The second CBSE Class 10 Board Examination will be conducted in May 2026. This examination will commence on May 15 and conclude on May 21. All examinations will be held in a single shift, scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. There may be slight variations in the timing for certain subjects.

CBSE Class 10th Second Board Exam Subject-wise Exam Schedule

According to the datesheet released by the CBSE, the examination schedule is as follows:

May 15: Mathematics (Standard and Basic)
May 16: English
May 18: Science
May 19: Hindi and other languages
May 20: Subjects such as Sanskrit, IT, and Artificial Intelligence
May 21: Social Science

Who Can Appear for This Examination? – Information on Syllabus and Pattern

This second board examination is intended for students who wish to improve their scores. Furthermore, in accordance with CBSE regulations, students who have received a ‘Compartment’ are also eligible to appear for this examination.

The CBSE has clarified that the syllabus and examination pattern for this second examination will remain identical to those of the main board examination. No changes have been made in this regard. Therefore, students should continue their preparation using the same study materials.
