RRB JE CBT 2 Exam: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the CBT 2 exam schedule for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment under CEN 05/2025. As per the notification, the RRB JE CBT 2 examination will be conducted on July 2, 2026, across various centres in the country.

This recruitment drive also includes posts of Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Candidates who have successfully qualified for CBT 1 will now be eligible to appear for CBT 2.

According to the official schedule, the City Intimation Slip will be released 10 days before the examination date, while the Admit Card will be made available 4 days prior to the exam. Candidates will be able to download both documents through the official regional RRB websites and the central portal rrbapply.gov.in.

The RRB JE 2026 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,570 vacancies across various posts. The selection process includes multiple stages—CBT 1, CBT 2, Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination.

The CBT 2 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres nationwide. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official RRB websites for updates regarding exam guidelines, admit card release, and other important instructions.

This examination is considered a crucial step for engineering graduates and diploma holders aspiring to secure technical positions in Indian Railways, one of the largest employers in the country.
