Ladli Behna Yojana Scheme: Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav released the 36th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana, transferring financial assistance directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries across the state.

During a program held in Gotegaon of Narsinghpur district, the Chief Minister transferred 1,835 crore 67 lakh 29 thousand 250 Rupees through a single-click system. Following the transfer, all eligible beneficiaries under the scheme received 1,500 Rupees each in their bank accounts.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister thanked the women who attended the event and reiterated the government’s commitment to women empowerment.

Over 1.25 crore women benefited

According to the state government, a total of 1 crore 25 lakh 22 thousand 542 women benefited from the 36th installment of the scheme. Each beneficiary received monthly financial assistance of 1,500 Rupees.

Scheme completes three years

The Ladli Behna Yojana has also completed three years since its launch. The first installment under the scheme was transferred on June 10, 2023. Since then, the state government has increased the assistance amount twice.

Mohan Yadav reached Gotegaon on Thursday afternoon and participated in the public event before releasing the installment amount. The state government said the scheme has emerged as a major initiative aimed at strengthening the financial independence of women in Madhya Pradesh.
