CRPF Constable Tradesman Jobs 2026 : The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 9,195 Constable Tradesman posts. Educational Qualification

  • Driver: 10th pass + Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License
  • Motor Mechanic Vehicle: 10th pass + 2 years ITI + 1 year experience
  • Other Tradesmen: 10th pass with proficiency in relevant trade
  • Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician): 10th pass + 1 year experience (ITI preferred)

Salary

  • Pay Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include the following stages:

  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  3. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  4. Trade/Skill Test
  5. Document Verification (DV)
  6. Medical Examination (DME/RME)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • For selected trades:
    • Male: 5 km in 24 minutes
    • Female: 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes
  • For other trades:
    • Male: 1.6 km in 10 minutes
    • Female: 1.6 km in 12 minutes
  • Pioneer Wing:
    • Male: 1.6 km in 9 minutes

Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • Height: Male – 170 cm, Female – 157 cm
  • Chest (Male): 80 cm with 5 cm expansion
  • Relaxations are applicable for certain categories

CBT Exam Pattern

  • Total Questions: 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 2 hours

Subjects:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • General Knowledge & Awareness
  • Elementary Mathematics
  • English / Hindi
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

Qualifying Marks:

  • UR: 30%
  • OBC/EWS: 25%
  • SC/ST: 20%

Trade/Skill Test

  • Total Marks: 50
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 20
  • Practical assessment of the relevant trade

Document Verification

Candidates will need to present original documents such as:

  • 10th Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Trade Certificates
  • Caste / EWS / Ex-Servicemen Certificates

Medical Examination

  • Conducted as per MHA guidelines
  • Final selection depends on medical fitness
