
Gold Silver Prices: Gold and silver prices are witnessing a decline across the country today. During morning trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the prices of both precious metals appeared to be under pressure.
Around 10:40 AM, the price of 24-carat gold on the MCX was recorded at ₹158,570 per 10 grams. A decline of approximately ₹510 per 10 grams was observed in gold prices. During the trading session, gold touched a low of ₹157,959 and a high of ₹160,378.
During the early hours of market trading, gold briefly appeared to drop by more than ₹700 per 10 grams.
Significant weakness was also recorded in silver prices. At 10:45 AM, the price of 1 kg of silver on the MCX stood at ₹268,866. This marked a decline of approximately ₹1,253 per kg.
In today’s trading session, silver hit a low of ₹266,850 per kg and a high of ₹269,605 per kg.
Why Are Gold and Silver Prices Falling?
According to experts, gold and silver prices remain under pressure due to profit-booking in the international market, a strengthening dollar, and investor caution. Additionally, the impact of ongoing uncertainty regarding global economic indicators and interest rates is also visible on these precious metals.
