UPSSSC Forest Guard Jobs 2026 | Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Wildlife Guard (Vanya Jeev Rakshak) recruitment on 23 April 2026 at its official website upsssc.gov.in. A total of 708 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 12-Pariksha/2026.

Eligible candidates who have passed Intermediate (10+2) and fall within the 18 to 40 years age group can apply online from 30 June 2026 to 20 July 2026. Applicants are advised to read the official notification carefully before applying.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board

Preferential Qualifications (any one):

• Minimum 2 years service in Territorial Army
• NCC “B” Certificate
• Computer certificate from recognized institute
• Represented state in sports

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Must have appeared in PET-2025 and possess a valid scorecard
• Candidates without PET-2025 score are not eligible

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Relaxation:

• OBC: up to 43 years
• SC/ST: up to 45 years
• Govt Employees: up to 45 years
• Others: as per UP Govt rules

• Processing Fee: ₹25 (for all categories)

• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25

Subjects:

• Forest & Environment Knowledge – 50 Marks
• Mathematics & Biology – 15 Marks
• Computer & IT Knowledge – 15 Marks
• Uttar Pradesh GK – 20 Marks

Physical Efficiency Test

• Male: 25 km walk/run with 10 kg weight in 4 hours
• Female: 14 km walk/run in 4 hours
